How Snowge records prices
A lift pass figure needs its season, eligibility, conditions and source. Snowge keeps those together so you can check what a resort actually published.
Every price keeps its original characters
Figures are copied as printed, including currency symbols, spacing and published ranges. Snowge does not convert currencies, calculate a daily rate, multiply one-day tickets or construct a trip total. Where several figures match, every one is shown with what distinguishes it.
The read date matters
Each price shows the date we read it and links to its source. Sources can be resort pages or ticket sellers the resort links to; the link shows which one we read. A read date is when we copied the price; it does not promise that the page or the offer is unchanged today. The Retrieval log on each resort page keeps earlier readings and page visits that failed.
Season labels are evidence
Each price carries a status label. “Latest recorded” means the newest price table when we read it. A label beginning “Older” means a previous season, a replaced page or a historical record, kept for reference; an older price is not a current offer. “Season unknown” means no season name is printed on the price table. Every price keeps the date we read it and its source. Where a page prints no season name, a season may be worked out from the dates it prints, and it is then marked “worked out from dates printed on the page”. Older price tables stay on the resort page, clearly separated from the others, and each says in one sentence what it is.
Missing information gets a reason
“Not found”, “Page did not open” and “Not offered when checked” mean different things. Each missing price shows its reason and the date we checked. A missing price is never turned into zero, an estimate or an empty space.
Date searches keep uncertainty visible
The pass finder matches a date only against the dates we recorded. A price whose recorded dates do not settle your date stays in a separate, labelled group. Duration must match a published product exactly; when only a one-day fallback is available, the page explains that no multi-day total has been calculated.
Conditions stay with the figure
Age, eligibility, where to buy, access area, tax and deposit terms can change what a price means. A condition shared by every price in a price table may be stated once above its prices; any condition that differs stays on its own line. Pages that disagree are shown with their evidence rather than silently resolved.
Records can disagree or become outdated
A later successful reading does not erase an earlier page visit that failed. Each missing-price entry says what we found on its own date, for the ticket it names. Likewise, an unresolved source conflict is not a license to choose a convenient date, tax basis or price.
Before buying, open the linked official source or official-linked seller and confirm the product, season, eligibility and availability. Snowge records publications; it does not sell tickets or certify that every source is unchanged.
What is covered
The published price records currently cover lift passes and recorded ropeway fares. Rental, lessons, transfers, flights and accommodation have no published price records here. We have looked at some of these sources but have not recorded their prices. Snowge never adds prices together into a trip total.
Map coordinates and ski-area boundaries have their own citations. A missing boundary is stated explicitly; Snowge does not invent an area around a point.
Planning notes have their own sources
Selected resort pages include practical pass rules and official planning links under “Before you buy”. Each note identifies the product or season it describes, its source links and when those sources were read. That date applies to the note, not every price on the page. A published tariff does not by itself mean online sales are open. Maps, lift-status pages and timetables should be checked with the operator for your trip.
