Snowge Japan for iPhone

Snowge Japan app support

Snowge Japan is an iPhone app for planning ski trips to Japan, made and supported by me, Roberts Berzins, in Australia.

Getting help

Email support@snowge.com. In the app, open Settings (the gear at the top right of the Discover, Trips, Learn or History tab) › Privacy & support › Email Snowge support, which opens your mail app with the address filled in. I read and answer every email myself. Questions about your information or your account are answered within 30 days at the latest, and usually far sooner.

What to include

Deleting your account in the app

  1. Open Settings (the gear at the top right of the Discover, Trips, Learn or History tab).
  2. Choose Manage account.
  3. Scroll to Delete account and tap it.
  4. Read what will be deleted and kept, enter your current password and tap Permanently delete account.

Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone. It removes your sign-in, email address and all account plans from the cloud, and this device's copy of them, and signs this device out. Guest plans on the device stay. If you cannot remember your password, reset it first (below) or email me from the account's address and I will delete the account for you.

If you can't sign in

Forgotten password. On the sign-in screen tap Forgot password?, enter your account email and tap Send reset code. An eight-digit code arrives from no-reply@mail.snowge.com; check your spam folder. The code lasts one hour. Enter it with your new password and tap Update password, then sign in with the new password. Send another reset code becomes available after 60 seconds.

Account not yet confirmed. If sign-in says your email is not confirmed, enter the account's email address on the sign-in screen, tap Already have a confirmation code? and enter the code from your sign-up email, or request a new one.

The sign-in screen says creating an account and requesting a password reset are not available yet. Email sending is switched off in that build. Email me and I will help directly.

No longer have access to the account's email address. If you still know the password, you can delete the account yourself in the app (steps above); only the email route needs the account's address. I cannot verify that an account is yours from any other address, so I cannot move the account or delete it on request. Your plans stay on any device where you were signed in.

Sync problems. Settings › Manage account shows the sync status and a sync button (Sync now; Try syncing again after an error, Check cloud again during a conflict). If the same trip changed on two devices, the page asks you to choose which version to keep; nothing is replaced until you confirm.

Lost guest plans. Guest plans exist only on your iPhone. If the app was removed or the phone was lost, I have no copy to restore.

Privacy

What the app stores, where it goes and how to remove it is set out in the app privacy policy. It describes what the code does.

Where resort facts come from

The resort catalogue is built into the app from Snowge's own reference records. Each resort page shows where its facts came from and when they were checked: the location carries a "Coordinates checked" date and a link to its source, and terrain details such as run counts, difficulty splits and colour keys link to the resort's official pages with a "Checked" date beside each one. Official resort maps open on the resort's own website. Lift-pass prices are not in the app; they stay on snowge.com, where each figure shows the publication it was read from and the date. Learn guides link to their original publisher and were checked on 16 September 2026.

A checked date tells you when a source was read, not that it is still current. Confirm dates, prices and conditions with the resort before you rely on them. If you find a fact that is wrong or out of date, email support@snowge.com or use the corrections form on the website.
